Deena Wingard

Deena's legal experience is extensive and diverse, spanning roles such as a Legal Aid Attorney, a Public Defender, a Prosecutor, a Private Law Firm Practitioner, a Law Firm Associate Attorney, and a federal employee. Her recent retirement from the Department of Veterans, after 22 years of service as a Rating Specialist, Decision Review Officer, and Rating Quality Review Specialist, is a testament to her dedication. Deena's passion for helping Veterans remains unwavering as she now specializes in obtaining disability benefits for them.

Deena's journey extends beyond the realm of law. As an Ordained Pastor, she has been serving since September 2021, and she is eager to explore the future endeavors that God has placed in her spirit. These include writing multiple books and movie scripts, hosting conferences, and other ministry events. Her first book, Almost, published in August 2022, Is a testament to her storytelling prowess. Almost is a story of self-love, forgiveness, and faith, and it is just the beginning of Deena's literary journey.

Deena's professional life is enriched by her personal interests and roles. As a wife and mother, she cherishes her family time and finds joy in traveling, reading, and spending quality time with friends. Her advocacy for our nation's Veterans is not just a professional commitment, but a personal passion that brings her great excitement and fulfillment, bridging the gap between her legal and ministry work.
